The round ones are brighter, they're just less reflective when off (the really bright night pics are flash pictures non-lit lights), you haven't seen lit pics at night.

@Dentiger: Thanks: my last name is "Rowe" so it works out really well.

Lookin' Good, Son!!I've always liked the look of your 7... in pics @ least since I haven't seen it in person... (yet?)

Have you considered some LED bulbs (faster reaction time) for those new lights? They have some really powerful LED bulbs now, and depending on the angle the bulb is in the housing (a problem w/the 3's like mine,) many options for that too.

that makes it look soo much nicer.. its amazing how different lights make all the difference in the car.. take the 3 for example.. the 04- 06 (minus the GT) had the red lights (or the red backing) and now the 07-08 have the smoked look.. it just looks soo much better and stands out alot

Ok when someone asked which was brighter, I found this pic online (not my car of course but same color)

Thanks everyone, I sure love them, hopefully there will be more stuff to come.

As for LEDs, I'm thinking about it, but I kinda don't want to deal with wiring them up to the stock equpment.

No, LED BULBs! No rewiring required. the most you might have to do, depending on how sensitivethe elec system is, is wiringin a ballast (resister) to simulatea load. 25w 3-6 ohms is often required, but not always, and it's a parallel circuit not in line (series.)

But what about the female connector from the wiring harness? What'll that plug into if I remove the bulbs? Or are there setups to plug em in as plug and play? When I think of an LED bulb, I think of the little plastic "pod" and the 2 prongs comming off of it. I would'nt know what to do with the prongs.

The bulbs will plug into the females... just like astd tungsten bulb would. Easy!
If the turn signals flash too fast, or the brake lights "bleed" over, you would have to clamp on a ballast, that's all.
There are other, but check out tis link. You'll see what I mean.

Ok I looked into what I needed, and researched LEDs. If I got the setup I wanted, it'd cost $64 USD (4 red 1157 type clusters w/24 diodes, and 2 amber/2white 1156 type clusters w/ 24 diodes) ^.^ That's a little pricey.

Well, just an idea... an option.
But really $64/8 bulbs doesn't sound all that bad to me, and as long as they are not damaged physically should theoretically last the life of the car.
