has anyone put a turbo on their mazda 6 cause i have a stock mazda 6s 2.3l inline 4 and i was wondering how much it set u back and how hard was it cause i would like to do it by myself if possible

this is kinda off the topic but.... you got a inline i never knew they made inlines for a 6 how much horse you pusshin' stock?

6's came (in the US) with either anI4 or a V6. I want to say stock engine hp for the 2.3L was 165-170. They are also available in Europe with 2.0 & 1.8L I4 engines (I believe) and I know of at least 1 diesel option in Europe as well.

 

2.3L was rated @ 160hp (flywheel) in '04 & '05. Then in '06 they downrated it to 156hp, 153 in PZEV format.

 

so wait are all mazda 6's 4 cyl inline?
