Oh, don"t worry about what I said to Vince (VB.) As one of the very few on here that do not own a Mazda we are always joking w/him back and forth about that. He is a respected and highly thought of member, really. "Just kidding w/him.
"Sides, you don"t say what vintage the Bu may have been. If it was from the "80"s-early "90"s,I can believe it drove like a boat. The newer ones, like VB"s are much better, I"m sure.

You managed to save $16-17,000 in one year?? WOW!!! May I say that that is impressive.
And I hope you at least opted for the A/C in your i model. Even weak A/C is better than none here in the South. Could you even find one w/o that option already?

I got the i sport, nothing special but its nice
I gotta get the tint soon, it has little to none ha

I paid cash from an insurance policy that ended when I turned 16, $4000
And pretty much the rest is from working since I turned 16, I worked my way up very quickly and became a shift manager for this small local resteraunt. I save most of every check, now I can spend

And yes, now Im driving my 3, the malibu feels like even more of a boat. It really felt like a tank around corners and braking
I have a Malibu myself...but you said old...are you talking late 70s early 80s Malibus?

Ahem...coming from a Chevy family, let me point out why your query is incorrect, Richard:

After its departure from the Chevelle tag, the Malibu remained Chevy's mid-size until 1983, when the Celebrity (my dad had an 89, total POS - fell apart on the Belt) replaced it. '89 was the swan song year for the Celebrity, so in 1990 the Lumina became Chevrolet's mid-size offering (though not a really good one) and stayed that way until 1997, when the Malibu was revived...and was the Motor Trend car of the year, I might add.

Na I got about $4000 from an insurance policy ending and I saved the rest over 1 1/2 years+ working and saving most of it
Either way, I feel quite accomplished ha
Yea it has A/C, Id be shocked if they sold one without in SA

Well, then I stand corrected VB. Somehow I just knew I was making a mistake, and that you"d straighten me out about it.
What do I know from 70"s-80"s-90"s Malibu"s? I remember seeing a ton of them in the "80"s, all square looking, but my favs of that car are from the Muscle car era.... the "60"s.

OH, pooley! I thought you PAID $4k for the insurance policy, not got it back. I wondered about that, but misunderstood your statement.

I am the resident Chevy guy after all...and if we're gonna talk about BB Chevys, I have one car for you: 1969 Camaro Z28. [8D]
