I have a 2006 RX8, I installed a new battery a month ago after 2 weeks the battery was dead. I exchanged it for a new battery and again after 2 weeks its dead. I tested the alternator and it checked out fine. I noticed this time around my trunk lid was down but not locked in place , does the trunk light stay on if the lid isn't locked in place? If so could that have drained the battery?
