Default Thanks for existing.

It’s 2026 and I did not think that forums still existed. I’m a new Mazda owner and I am not exaggerating that my 2011 Mazda 3 2.0L with. 5-Speed Manual is the greatest vehicle I have ever owned. It’s something to behold. That being said I was going to ask for an assist in getting a part number. Not sure is everyone is familiar, but these have a battery box assembly with a bolt that is molded in. I am trying find the nut. I ordered a part off of E-Bay and it wasn’t included evidently, which is the whole reason I had to order it. Anyways thanks for existing and hopefully this isn’t an annoying post.

Welcome to the forum
from the picture....... best guess ..... These generally strip out on the body side (from over tightening) ... If that is what yours did you may need to first repair the crack and the threaded hole.
These are called hanger bolts, and they are readily available in many hardware stores of thousands online sources.
When customer apparently stripped them or the last service shop did most of the time, I have what my Tech needs to repair the damage. if not, I just run up to Lowes or Hom,e Depot for the part.

I think it is the picture below that he may be refereeing to? The nut on top in his picture is not the one that is hard to find.
But describing what you need to someone use the term hanger bolts

In this picture substitute the descriptive word "wood" to plastic.

Bolt Depot - Hanger bolts, Steel plain finish, #8-32 x 3/4"

He said he's trying to find the nut not the anchor bolt.

yaI read that but it’s an average nut nothing special that’s why I post what I thought was more likely what he was asking for.

guess we will know if he responds ??

I don't know about you, but I belong to several forums but on Mazda specific at least 4. When I see a member join and ask a service-related question and then join several other Mazda forums asking the same question as if by group consensuses the answer given must be the correct one. LOL
Sometimes I answer but have to cleverly or carefully change all my wording answers.

What that person does not realize, and I am guilty by responding to them on those other forums is it adds to a non-fact-based collection of a single problem that gets counted on the WWW as multiple people having one specific concern. Then some business and agencies use collected information adding that concern to what ends up as a skewed totaled. Not saying this member did just a general thought and observation.
This is observed on this forum by so many that think a TSB and their listed model and VIN or in some cases not even listed "must" be their problem with their Mazda . LOL

I wish Mazda would post how many "cry-wolf" owners going to Mazda with a TSB in hand and telling the Mazda service Technician that is what they think is wrong with their Mazda only ending up not to be in anyway related to that TSB.
