Thumbs up Returning to Mazda

Just took delivery of a 2018 CX5 Touring Soul Red of course. What an amazing vehicle! Last Mazda was a 1974 RX3 Coupe so it's been awhile. My last two cars were '08 and '14 Subaru Foresters. Great for the snowy winters in the North Carolina mountains but not needed in Florida. Got tired of the rough ride and road noise. And let's be honest, Subie's aren't the most attractive cars around. But what can you expect when their parent company, (Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.) builds assault vehicles and attack helicopters. I look forward to using this site as THE source should I need information about Mazda vehicles. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Check out the posts that discuss the Soul Red Crystal Metallic paint. You may want to get some form of paint protection as soon as possible.

Beyond the paint concern, the CX-5 should be a great car for you. My wife has a 14 Subaru Forester and I had to drive it a few hours Sunday. I have never been comfortable driving the Forester.

Thanks for the info, I am concerned about the paint issues, we'll see.
