Default Is it possible for "skyactiv g" engine to work with lpg?

Hello there I am a new member here. Used to be an owner of a Xedos6 back in 90s early 00s. I recently bought a Mazda 2 1.5.
I wonder if the skyactiv engine is capable to work with LPG Or not ? Should I try and do the installation?
I really don't know where else I should ask this question.

I would ring Mazda Greece and ask them direct. Otherwise contact some LPG installers.

Hi there,
Yes it is possible to Install LPG in a Mazda Axela Skyactiv engine. You need to install Direct Injection LPG system. I have done in couple of units at my LPG conversion workshop.
Reagards.

Not sure on the Skyactiv ECU programming will take to LPG. I would contact MAZDA as suggested by Grim reaper. Most of the LPG conversions are and have been used on a fairly common auto manufacture ECU programing while the Skyactiv technology of the engine itself required and very different programming. At least from about 2014 and newer to present. I can't confirm older Skyactiv ECU programing as I have not done programing for the older ones yet. You may contact VersaTuner and ask if they have a programing kit available BEFORE attempting an LPG conversion. If I had to GUESS based on my direct experience using LPG as an augmentation on BMW platform I would say it is possible, but you would need to fine someone very experienced in ECU/EFI Performance calibrating as well very familiar and experienced with LPG.

It takes about 35 seconds to destroy an engine using LPG if something fails or all adjustment to use it are not met. Also, if anyone is getting it installed, I would ask the installer/shop for triple redundant safety features to protect your engine. Always carry with you a fire extinguisher
