I'm new to the forum. I previously owned a 2002 Protege ES 5-speed that I loved. I traded it on a 2006 Toyota Matrix in 2006 after I had racked up 115k miles in four years. The Protege was a great car and I'm sorry its no longer in production.

The only Mazda currently in my driveway is a 1990 Mazda B2200 2WD, but I'm seriously considering adding a Mazda5 Sport 6-Speed manual in the next year or two. I need the space the 5 offers, but I love the character of Mazda vehicles and I am thrilled the 5 is available with a manual transmission!
