Sound like a good ride. I bought a 79 that had been updated with electronic ignition from 82 model, racing beat exhaust from manifold to tailpipe. Delorto side draft racing carb from Italy, etc. Had a bad engine so when I rebuilt, i ported the intake and exhaust with templates from racing beat and had a blast doing it. When car was running I had entire thing painted 88 Aniversery white. Am talking eveything except windows, lights, and tires. Absolute killer machine. Would spin tires in first 3 gears easy. Having driven 7's from 79-95, will say that car would have kicked @ss up to the twin turbo 93. Wish I still had it now due to now i do not have any DEQ requirements to pass.
