Cool Newbie

Newbie from RI.
So far this site has been helpful. Is it worth buying an aftermarket remote start and having either Best Buy or dealer installing it?

Thanks,
Bob F.

I doubt either would install unless you bought it from them. This sounds like an ebay thing? There are techs that will install them, however usually in there garage, and that means no warrenty or any problems in the future. I had two Silverados 08, 2010 that had remote starts put in, both where installed by a reputable shop here. I'd also suggest (this is experience) have the climate control to automatically operate with the remote start.
