Hey folks - new member and Mazda3 owner. Just took delivery last night of the 3s Touring 5 door, Copper Red Mica.
Taking a step back into the compact scene after a break from several projects in the past years, and out of my '02 Hyundai Santa Fe, which I put a little work into and was/am a current moderator in a Santa Fe forum. I'll be nosing around the forum getting some ideas and tips! Owned many cars, & customized as many - but never owned a Mazda.

wow I've seen many Mazda3s but none that color. I heard for 07 they added some colors that must be one of them. Looks really nice and it comes from the Shenka Edition Rx-8 i've seen it in person and it looks really good. Have fun with the car

Thx! It is a new color from what the dealer said. He mentioned it was a rare color at the moment and guaranteed I was the only one in our area that had one (sounded like a selling gimmick to me, but sounds good anyways!!).
I've only had it for 2 days, but already had a few comments (with expletive wording!), of how nice the car looks and the color, from complete strangers.
Dealer that sold it to me had another buyer lined up for it that hadn't commited yet but wanted it bad but said - "First come first serve". I took it right after the test drive. I've been having fun with it since!!

Thanx bill1986. Ironically, I wasn't even looking for the Copper Red Mica, but rather the Strato Blue. The sun just happened to be hitting this car in the right angle that day and I was hooked! Still glad I took it instead of the blue. Less common on the road.
RJB_M6 - I live in Lebanon, PA just east of Hershey, PA. If you were in that general area, than that would've been me you had seen. So far the dealer "claims" no other 5 door Copper Red other than mine has come in. Only in the sedans.
