Default A new old guy

Hello all,

Just want to let you know that I have joined your forum and look forward to learning all can and adding my .02 where I can. I have owned many Mazdas in my lifetime. A 1992 323, a 1994 Protege' LX, a 1991 & 1992 Ford Escort. I currently drive a 2002 Protege 5 and have a 1991 Miata that I use for autocrossing. Hence my name: Miatacrosser. But you can also call me Steven.

My job involves driving many miles (I currently have over 318,000 miles on the P5 and have put over 200,000 miles on each Mazda I've owned)and I will try and share my experiences in wearing out cars.

My experiences with Mazda has been mostly positive. While there seem to be some problems areas with them I'm very impressed with their reliability and performance.

Look forward to being here

Steven Bradford

COOL!! So you've been at it for a while, where as I haven't done it in quite a few years myself.

Welcome aboard, Steven.

Having just under 60,000 miles on my (don't laugh) '04 HB, and as one who usually keeps his cars for a long time, I would be curious to know what insights you've had w/Mazdas when they get older.
