Have you taken it back to the dealer to have it checked out? something has to be out of adjustment.

If it tracks straight, but you have to keep the wheel off-center, it's most likely a very simple tie-rod end adjustment to center the steering wheel. You would want to have it properly aligned afterwards to make sure you didn't mess up the toe setting of the front suspension. (Improper toe will cause abnormal wear/feathering of the tire tread)

It should track straight with no pull in the wheel (and the wheel is centered.)

hi,
i've been and everything is ok,exception that one wheel is a very little in front of the other.
It will cause no improper wear or feathering of the wheel, just a little disconfort that i have to keep
the steering straight.
My oppinion is from the manufacturer because there is no hitting marks under the car.
Any clue about some tuning accesories about this type of mazda?

rgds,
Tibi

Not sure what you mean by one tire in front of the other. They should be in exactly the same spot fore/aft along the length of the vehicle.

There are 4 components to the alignment of your front suspension.
Caster
Camber
Toe
Centering

The car is not designed to make you keep the wheel off-center to go down the road.

Caster is the problem.
left wheel is about 1 cm in front of the axel.
Toe,camber,Setback of the front and Camber,Toe ,Thrust( Geometrical driving axis),kingpin inclination are OK.
The tendencies are to go to the right. Not immediately, but in about 100 meters .
Due to the fact the roads are not perfect,i didn't realised until i checked after a flat tyre.

Caster has more effect on the self-centering nature of your steering than it pulling to the right/left.

Are you saying your dealership tried to adjust it and can't get it within specification? Is this a brand new car?
