Default New mazda owner

HI All, Well, I did it, I bought the 2012 mazda3 hatchback, in beautiful blue with skyactive, 6 speed manual, and it is nice, still at the dealership, I wanted a sunroof put in. Question: How are the sunroofs when put in afterwards. ? My car has 14 miles on it, it is so brand new, it's not funny. I'm a little nervous, but it comes with a 3 year warranty. Thanks, looking forward to learning about my car, did some research, before, drove the ford focus hatchback, (so so), the chevy cruz and the chevy sonic. Decided on the mazda based on gas and storage and drivability. Hope it doesn't let me down.

Well Congratulations, and welcome to MazdaForum too!!
1st new car? My 3 HB was my 1st new car too.
So you got it in Indigo Blue Mica, or the Sky Blue Mica? Dune interior or the black?

Oh, I wanted a sunroof so badly when I bought mine...
As far as what I know about aftermarket installed sunroofs, like any other, they can leak over time, and/or if not installed properly. But if they take the time to do it right can be as trouble free as a factory roof. Try to get as much of a warranty as you can.

Again, congrats, and welcome aboard!! Be sure to post pics or vids when you get them. Start an album or a virtual garage.

Bonmon - Congrats on the new mazda3, nice color too.

virgin1 - I assume posting pictures here isn't easy. Can we post right in a New Reply?

It's not hard. Of course you can post them directly to the site by uploading them here, but then they are of no use to you anywhere else.
I usually recommend hosting them somewhere first, then copying the link for [IMG]. That's what I do. You can post them anywhere by doing it that way.
I started a simple How-To thread in the Forum Help and Suggestion Center section some time ago.

And yes, inserting pics within a post is something I do all the time.
