Hey guys! I'm from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Just 30 min from downtown Toronto. We recently purchased a new 2010 Mazda5 (family of 3 with 2 dogs) and being a Honda owner all my life, hope this is a wise choice. Anyway, hope to get some tech/maint advice from you current Mazda owners out there in the near future.

Great choice on the Mazda 5 its really a lot bigger then it looks so you get great room inside .. with really super handling and control. The gas millage is also a huge plus. Give it a few weeks and you like most former Honda owners will wonder why you ever owned a Honda to begin with. Good luck I'm sure any of your tech/mait advise you can find here when you are ready this forum really seem to know their stuff.

Hey thanks, TM! We looked at other Honda roomier vehicles out there such as the Element, Pilot, and the CR-V. The Element was to ugly (wife didn't like the boxy look to it), the Pilot was too big and clunky (filling up the beast would be a nightmare). We were set on the CR-V because the handling was amazing until we test drive the Mazda5. The price difference was almost $10,000 more for the fully loaded CR-V EXL. So, we have no regrets switching over from Honda.
