Hello All , wanted to say I just purchased a 2004 mazda 3s 5dr and I really love the car. It looks and rides really well . I have tinted the windows with 15% charcoal all the way around with 3% limo on the back window with custom tinted graphics,painted the calipers red to go against the black color and made a couple of red zoom zoom stickers again to give the car a little more contrast to the black paint and put a black bra on the front as well. How do I post the pics just so show what has been done ? Also, I want to activate the sirius system but when I called them I could not get the ESN from the radio . Where do you get that number from as they advised I do not need to purchase any other equipment ? Glad to be here and hope to hear and get to know the mazda owners in the forum.

Hello and welcome to our little Mazda Forum group. Your 3s sounds really nice. To post a picture just click on the new post button in the upper left corner, write a little story and then at the bottom of the area to write in I always check the "embed picture in post" box and then click on "click here to upload". Will come up with a box with 5 browse "buttons" in it. click one of the browse buttons and search for it on your computer. Kind of self explanatory once you click on the "click here to upload" anyway.

I did not think that the 04 model came with Sirius sattelite radio compatable but if you have a "SAT" button then it maybe does.
Make sure it is installed and operating by pushing the SAT button. Should default to test channel 184. If it does then you are ready to go. If not then it is either not installed or is not working.

To obtain the ESN# directly from the radio, turn the radio ON, press the SAT button, then press and hold the ‘DISP/ESN’ button for more than 1.5 seconds. The display will show the first 6 or 8 digits of the ESN# and the remaining 6 or 4 digits will be displayed by turning the ‘Tune or Text’ **** clockwise. If not already done so, record the ESN# on the last page of the Satellite Radio Kit ‘Owner’s Manual’

After that you just need your 17 digit VIN and call 1-888-539-7474.

I've put off installing any modifications to my car until this summer. Gotta save up on money and i am going to do alot of research on mods until i find the best combination that's not going to blow my money away. I'm curious to compare charcoal vs. black window tinting. That would be nice to see a picture of that.
