New CX-5!
Greetings Everyone. Thanks for allowing me to join your community!
For most of my life I have been a loyal Honda owner, servicing my cars myself and keeping them for 14+ years. It was time to replace my very old and reliable Honda. After some SUV research and shopping, a new CX-5 is in my garage.
I did consider the new generation CR-V. But, in my view, Honda's reliability has suffered in the last 10+ years. Buying an unproven new generation turbo CR-V design was not an option. Also, the limited availability and "Honda Premium" meant my cost for a new AWD CR-V would have been $8K more than the Mazda. The CX-5 supply is limited in my area so big discounts off MSRP are not in the cards.
Anyway, I am very happy with my purchase and excited to have my first AWD vehicle. I look forward to contributing to the discussion.
