Default New 2022 CX-5 2.5 S Preferred driver

Hello All,

My wife and I picked up a new 2022 CX-5 2.5 S Preferred in Eternal Mica Blue w/Black Leather interior today! It was more than I wanted to spend, but we don't have a car and need one here, and this had all the features, size, design we liked so we leased it for 3 yrs. I've never had a Mazda before, so this will be fun to experience. It drives nice, and has that new car smell! The only thing that we thought was odd was how different the color of the car was from what they show on the Mazda website, but we'll get used to it. It's almost as dark as the dark blue, we were hoping for a lighter color blue.

Some things I need help with finding. Since it's a lease and we don't know if we will turn in or not, we want to protect all the high touch surfaces. We need some affordable protective floor mats that fit, same for seat covers, and a steering wheel cover. I also wanted to see if I could find some kind of protection for the paint on the top flat surface of the rear bumper as it enters the rear cargo area, I've seen so many cars with that area totally scratched up, I was hoping I could find something to cover it and not ruin the paint. Any ideas on where I can get any of this stuff? I see floor mats on amazon, but they are for earlier year models, I don't know if there is a change in floor design or seat design that would make those 2021, 2020, 2019 products obsolete for 2022.

Is there anything else I should get I'm not thinking of?

Anyway, looking forward to checking out this forum! Cheers!

For floor coverings you want Weathertech. Tough, well-designed, excellent fit, and they have a little bit of side-wall protection too. For the rear bumper, Mazda has a protector and other sources may have something too.
