Hi all, I recently bought a Mazdaspeed 6 in decent condition, smelt a lot of burning oil as I got into driving it and took it to the shop, mechanic said the turbo was leaking oil and gave me a quote of about 2000 CAD to get a used turbo with 110k km, my main question revolves around replacement turbos or upgraded turbos, is there any equivalent turbos to the stock ko4 that would provide ~equal power? Should I trust the mechanic on his determination for a new turbo? Should I invest in a ko4 repair kit and put new seals on the turbo? Any help or tips are appreciated.
