My faithful old Miata needs A/C work, has cooling system leak, and badly needs repaint. I need some advice on what I need to check in the undercarriage and mechanical systems in general. If I decide to keep the car, I am going for a good repaint and new top. It needs tires, but I think the brakes are okay. Except for a few scuffs on the driver seat the interior--dashboard, and window sills are in good shape. Also, the timing belt was replaced at 60,000 miles (now at 75,000). I think it would be prudent to replace belts and hoses. Engine and auto trans sound fine--no leaks. Any advice on what I need to pay special attention to in deciding to keep or sell? Appreciate any thoughts.
