Just got a Mazda 6
1.8 ltr is very small for a Mazda 6, especially expecting more Zoom Zoom.
Never heard of a 1.8 ltr gas, we here in North America have the 2.3 ltr and more recently the 2.5 ltr for 4 cyl gas.
An aftermarket intake may add 3 hp and aftermarket exhaust may add 5 at most. Both are not really worth it. Unless you have money for Turbo? Or do a motor swap.
A tuner won't do much either plus you will have to run premium fuel.

1.8 is a UK car my American friends and yes is underpowered
What will make her go faster - a 2lt sport engine. A turbo. only drive Downhill!
Minor benefits could be had from air induction, blueflame exhaust but to be honest she aint designed for speed.

yea i know its not the fastest but im getting it for free from my parents, might just keep it stock and make it look nice on the outside, like coilovers, better alloys, hid kit, debagded grill, sub, oh and another thing, it has a standard factory head unit, is there anything i can buy which allowes me to ad a afterarket one, the centre consol is one big thing

ClickMe to see soom good decals.
Dropping the suspension does require an alignment right after. Dropping more than 1.5" may require new coilovers and you still may need adj ball joints to get a proper alignment.
HiD lights are great. I would recommend 35 watt in the range of 4300K to 6000K (no higher).
When you add a stereo make sure you add extra grounds to engine block and body to the negative terminal of the battery on top of your amp ground!
If you go further than 8 feet for your amp power wire than 4 gauge wire will not be thick enough for good bass response.
thanks, i think it looks nice, the biggest problem im having is that im trying to make it look 'fresh' so when ever i go to a car meet people will be like oh thats nice, but the thing is its going to be my second car and any mods i do will take time because i still go to college and have a part time job, the one im getting is a 2004 mazda 6 in silver, and one of the fist things ill do is lower it with new coilovers and get alloys jdm style, any suggestions what colour alloys will go with a siver car appart from black?
