I am considering buying mpv. Someone introduce Mazda 2004 mpv to me which I fall in love with the interior and seat design. I have been looking for a genuine review on the engine performance reliability and dependability. Most especially want to know the common problems with 2004 mazda mpv. I dont want to be enticed with the interior moreso considering I am putting it on African roads and weather.

Would appreciate for someone who had used mazda 2004 mpv before to give me a review of its engine.

1. was 2004 mazda mpv a timing chain or belt?
2. at what mileage do you expect the timing chain or belt to be changed?
3. if the timing chain or belt snap suddenly what are the consequences or effects on the engine/
4. does the engine over heat?
5. And any other valuable information
