HOLD light flashing, car wont start. 2001 Millenia 2.5
I have a 2001 Millenia P 2.5 with 134k miles. I drove it to school today and back with out any issues. An hour after returning home when i went to start it; it would not start. When i turn the key normally it clicks then u hear the starter and it revs up and im off.
When i turn the key now I hear a click and nothing else happens, no starter noise or anything, car wont turn on. The hold light came on and started flashing when i unsuccessfully tried to turn it on.
about 2 weeks ago i accidentaly tried to turn it on, while it was already on and it made a screeching sound. Idk if that has anything to do with it now.
Please respond if u have some info. Thank You

I have the same problem, sort of, and the flashing HOLD light is a code. Count the flashes, long flashes counting as ten, short ones as one. Add that to your post. There are some very smart mechanics on here, but I've got an old 92 626 that hasn't moved in a month...burning out distributors and the hold light flashes after 5 to 10 minutes of driving. My guess is a problem in the wiring.
I managed to get my 2001 millenia to turn on again. I put my key in the ignition and started turning the key rapidly tell the engine cranked, this seemed to fix the problem, but i still have to do it time to time now to get it to turn on.
What does that mean? is it electrical or ...?
