Enjoying my vehicule , talk about reliability !!! After 5 years, only rear brakes were an issue.

Welcome to the forum. What brought you to introduce yourself?

 

I recently purchased a 2005 mazda 6 sport 4 door hatch back. Low millage 54,836 miles from the original owner. Beautiful car, needs lots of tlc but took it in for it's recall of the crash bags and the service people said it is a rare car due to having a 5 speed manual transmission. V6 engine is ready to go. I changed plugs, cops, a can of engine cleaner and cleaned egr valve tube, the tube was almost clogged, had a P2144 dtc. Found that problem was crack in the intake tube from filter to the throttle body. cleaned extremely dirty throttle body. Just a few other minor things to do and all is good. Looking forward to chatting with others about their cars also and if can be of help don't hesitate to ask. I use for forscan to first look at the dtc in the car. Great program.
