Its a 1999 Protege LX, its in great looking condition, no rust, just beautiful. The only bad is that it has 202k miles, and i dont know how long mazda's last. Will it last much longer?(I know that its how you maintain it that decides how long it can really last but what's the average?)

Any used car w/that many miles on it is questionable, unless it's a classic or at least a classic to you, and you plan to restore it before relying on it as a DD.
A '99 Proto LX is no classic to most people, or the automotive knowledgeable in general.

I would look further if I were you... that is unless you need a cheap vehicle for a short period of time, or a winter beater.
