I am new to the site (Obviously) and I was hoping to get to know a little bit more about Mazda3's and Rx8's. To be brutally honest, I really don't know a lot about cars but I am in need of a car soon. In my search I have come across the Mazda3 and the Rx8 and I am literally drooling at the mouth. I love these cars although I really don't know what to watch out for when buying these cars from other people.

I have done a little research and the designs of the Rx8's are incredible although from what I here, their engines break constantly. So I feel a little skeptical about buying such a car. On the other hand Mazda3's seem pretty reliable and decently good looking.

Anyways, I was hoping you guys can clarify up a couple things for me and help me through this process of getting my FIRST Mazda!
