Hey there everyone. I am a new member to this forum. I am in the process of buying a 2002 maroon protege for $8,000. I am heading to the dealer in the morning to test drive and buy the car.

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah (mormonville). I hear the SLC racing community is growing pretty rapidly out here, and I hope to be part of it soon.

I was planning on buying a mazdaspeed protege for $15,000 but I could not get approved for a loan for that much, so I had to get the next best thing. I plan on upgrading some things to my protege, so I will be asking questions on here in hopes that people will know best how to do things to these wonderful cars.
