Hey guys, new here...

I'm currently looking at buying a Mazda familia sp20 (2000). Basically i'm just wanting to know if they're any good? I'm not after performance, just reliability and fuel economy.

Are there any common issues with these cars?

Yes, they are reliable. Should return good fuel mileage.
The intake hose may have or develop cracks and need to be replaced, but as far as the usual is concerned, that's about it.

Keep up w/maintenance and do not over-fill the tank (on ANY modern vehicle) and you should be good to go!
