Default Hey, glad to be here

Well i've never had a Mazda before (well.. infact i don't have one now but i'm looking at a good '88 626) but i've always liked the cars. My cousin had a rusted (the only one i've ever seen with that much rust in my life) 89 626 5spd, nad i loved that thing, infact i would have it now if her sister (who she bought the car from) didn't start griping about her going to sell it to me instead of her. But now i'm loking at a '88 626 Non-Turbo 5spd (can't stand a auto with a 4 banger) thats in decent condition. It has been in this local car lot for about 2 years now and it seems that no one wants it other than me. I test drove it and the thing overheated because i think the thermostat is stuck and the radiator is leaking at the seams. I got it back to the lot (it didn't overheat long enough to warp anything) and he said he'd put a new radiator in and check things on it. I think i'm going to try back in a day or two to see if he found out whats wrong in the cooling system. It drove suprisingly well for being left basicly abandoned for two years. Except for it needing new gas and new tires it didn't need much else. the front left brake is dragging (you can hear it), and the shifter is a little stiff. But the main thing that worried me is that it seems it took the clutch to long to ride out (or maybe the gears are lower than it feels like to me lol) and a couple times i jerked it a little. Now i hadn't drove a stick in a couple years anyway so i'm just going to chalk it up to being out of practice for now. If anyone can give me any advice on the cars and what to check or look for then i'd appreciate it.

'Brandon
