Hey Guys...

i am relatively new to cars and looking to buy a used one. I m looking for one that looks sporty and see that Mazda has many.....my frends have told me never to consider a mazda that has run more than 60K..... cos they have too many problems....(especially Xmission).... i would appreciate it if you all could tell me which is the most reliable Mazda, under $3000 used.....

man your friends are full of it. I bought my buddies dad work car a 93 mazda 626 5 speed it had bad cv shafts and a really weak clutch i gave him 200.00 bucks for it. It has original motor and tranz with 271.048 miles on it now ive put at least 20,000 of those miles on it since i bought last spring (i drive alot) and ive been spraying the bottle to it all summer and fall and clean and clear winter days it still runs like a fricken champ its my dailly driver and I have no motor knocking valve train ticking nothin so if it has more then 60k i wont worry about it any questions just hit me back I'll try to answer But mazda has may sporty cars[IMG][/IMG][:@]

 

Yeah man no offense but your freinds are silly. The Rx-8's have had their problems with burning oil. But Mazda's are one of the most reliable cars on the street today. The commercials don't lie about the zoom zoom feeling. The Mazda's aren't fast. But they drive so smoothly. It is easy to push the pedal to the floor , especially in turns. Obiviously that can shorten the lifespan of the tranny. So if your freinds have had problems with their Mazda, perhaps they are too hard on the car!

 

Just ask some of the people on here of how many miles they have on their Mazda! Don't ask me I just got a 05 Mazda 6 11,000 miles ago. It runs good as new. My neighbor has a Miata that he races. He still has the original motor and tranny. oh by the way, it has 260,000 + miles! I wish the miata was bigger for my 6'2 ***. Cause I would have to buy one of those.
