Default Help needed: EAC warning, shudders and fails

Hi all,

Hoping someone might be able to help. A couple of times my Mazda 2 has come up with a warning 'EAC' after problems with the car moving away. When stationary in neutral the car revs itself up and down, and shudders a lot in neutral and first gear. Releasing the clutch more often than not makes this worse, and if the car is on anything other than very flat or downhill it stalls.

I had the electronics of the throttle looked at when I got that EAC warning a couple of months back., but that was appearing then when the car was in 4th or 5th gear and would lose power completely. They said it was fixed but now I've got this problem, and don't know whether it's related to the throttle electrics again or something to do with the clutch itself?

Anyone any idea?
