Default Hello from the Southwest

I'm considering becoming a Mazda owner, because my ancient Mercury Grand Marquis is getting to the point where it's just not gonna work much longer.

I've more or less zeroed in on a Mazda 6 or possibly 3 as my replacement car. Looking for used, new is too much money.

I have some questions about being a Mazda owner - I'll find the right part of the forum and post there soon.

Welcome to the forum. The Mercury was a great car but it is as different from a Mazda in all but one way. Both the Mercury and Mazda are extremely reliable vehicles.

The Mazda3 and Mazda6 are going to be sporty cars with a clear focus on driving dynamics. I love both the 3 and 6 and have owned 1 6 and 2 3s. The question for you is how big of a car do you need. Drive as many of both and as many generations as possible. Buy the newest, lowest mileage, and best maintained one that fits in your budget.

Enjoy the search.
