being 62 years old, seems sort of funny to be a "newbie", but guess i am...at least here. i have a red 2001 miata with 22k actual miles. my ladyfriend drives it most of the time. she is a cancer survivor and a couple years ago, after her treatments, she wanted a red convertible. first one i bought was a nice '84 mustang, but she is a real little gal(short and about a 110 lbs.)and thought the 'stang was just too big for her. sold it and looked for a mazda as she really liked them and i had once owned an RX-7 and loved it.
i've been into hot rods and old custom cars most of my life, but a few years ago sold all i had except a '93 ford lightning pickup w/50k actual miles and got back into motorcycling after 20 years away from that sport.
