New to the forums. I have been a car enthusiast my whole life. Owned a variety of vehicles starting with a 1970 Imperial LeBaron. From there owned a 1974 BMW 2002 (wish I still had it), a 1986 Ford Escort GT, a 1996 Ford Ranger STX, a 1965 Lincoln Continental (REALLY wish I still had that one), a 2004 VW Touareg V8, a 2018 VW Beetle Convertible, a 2016 VW Tiguan that we traded for the CX-5, and since the Mazda will be my wife's car, I have a 2015 Ford F150 Lariat.

I've been a subscriber to Car&Driver for decades and their high praise for the Mazda was a big influence on our decision to trade when at 100K miles the Tig started to get thirsty for oil.

So far we really like the CX-5. The Machine Gray looks like liquid metal in the sunlight, and the parchment leather interior is gorgeous. So fun to drive too!
