Greetings
Greetings all
I just found the forum and have decided to join in the fun.
I'm stuck here in Ireland with the worst rain in 650 years ( according to the national papers )
I work for an Irish car magazine and guess what?
We test drive Mazdas for a living............hooray!
I was the proud owner of a Mazda 323 for 4 years ( indestructible car )
I'm looking forward to posting here.
I'll drift off for now and talk to you later.

RE: Greetings
Thank you!
I will make sure to post the Mazda features as they come in.
Which is exiting as there are new cars on the way.
You can also view features on new and older Mazdas at our homepage
www.drivemagazine.ie
I will gladly post a link to www.mazdaforum.com on our website so that Irish Mazda owners can also join in the fun.

Sure!Texans can "kid" too, can't they??
BTW Irish: That's just VB giving ME a hard time. 'Happens all the time around here.
And anyway, I may live in Texas now, but will never be a true Texan. Ask any native, if you're not born into it you can never be it no matter how hard you try... and I don't try very hard.

Then again, none of the immigrants ever went to Texas from Ellis Island. Brews that kind of mentality.[8D]

RE: Greetings
Of course they did!! The Germans, Italians and Irish all had settlements here.
The fact that I used to live in Pflugerville, TX should be witness to that!
Even the French had settlements here. 'Ever hear of Paris, TX? Shiner, TX, where Shiner Bock beer is made?

RE: Greetings
Paris, TX does not have a French history. Why it is named Paris is unknown, but there has never been anything French about it. The French for the most part stayed is Louisiana when they moved south, as (historically) their language and religion was not appreciated by most.
Pflugerville indeed does have a German history, as does Shiner,Germansare known to set up shop and farm anywhere they can get land. And make beer if they can - being German, that's what they do.Why they playawfulaccordian music remains inexplicable to most.
