Default Gauges windows blinkers quit working

I have a 2007 Mazda 6. Runs great.. recently I started the car and noticed my gauges were not working.. tried to roll up windows and nothing happened.. headlights will stay on for A minute then goes off.. headlights will come back on if I turn off then back on.. and my blinkers don't work at all.. this happened all at one time so I know something is up electrically.. it still runs and radio, dome lights, AC work perfectly.. a friend suggested resetting ECU.. any other ideas???

Pull the air filter box out and check the common ground block located on top of the frame near the left headlight assembly. Have run into issues in the past but they didn't affect the gauges. Resetting ECU will do nothing.
