I currently own a 2021 Toyota Avalon xle, traded my 2016 Mazda 6, that zips to 60 in 5.5 seconds. Modded it some. I killed my friends 2019 Miata in a drag race. Now he wants to win. What can he do to make it fast? I want to help him make it interesting for me😆

Forced induction might be the way to go. There are also engine swaps that can be done, at least in some models of the Miata. In short, improved air intake and exhaust can give a little boost in power, but not anywhere near as much as forced induction or a bigger and more-powerful engine.
