Default Forum Newbie saying Hello!

I'm from the Uk and own a 2007 Mazda 3 2.0 Sport in Phantom Blue - my second Mazda, previously owned a beautiful MX5 in Strato Blue.

I have just got my 3 back from the body shop following a collision where I was hit in the rear - hard! The repair bill came to £4.5k and I've had a hire car for 7 weeks whilst waiting.

On close examination, I've already found a few snags with the car. They replaced the boot floor, but one of the wheel arch/floor grommets is missing - so likely that water will get in! The rear light cluster doesn't fit as well as it should. There's a chunk out of my spoiler that wasn't there before AND they forgot to put a Sport badge back on it.

I'm also thinking there's something not quite right about the rear seat squab fitting in the boot... that is, there doesn't seem to be anything for the U loops to lock into? I'd never examined that area of the boot in detail before but I guess there should be something there?

I'd appreciate any thoughts of fellow 3 owners.

Thanks - and look forward to getting to know you!

Chris
