First Gen, Mazda 6

Anyone with a Mazda 6 2003, experience a hard transmission knock when downshifting?

Im hoping this is not a sign of transmission failure.

Welcome to the forum.

I had a 04 Mazda 6 S. I sold it with 180,000 miles and never had any transmission problems.

Can you provide a little more information to help others answer your question. Do you have the 4 or 6 engine? Automatic or Manual? How many miles on it?
