Just out of curiosity , I have owned this truck for a couple of years . It is a 2004 Mazda B3000 V6 with an automatic transmission. I am trying to see if the transmission I rebuilt is faulty because it is behaving unlike any other car I have ever owned . When on the highway in overdrive , I let off the gas and the car drops to idle . then pressing on the gas about 10 percent it goes back up to the 3 k rpm required to sit a 70 mph . Has the truck always dropped to idle when letting off at highway speeds ?
