Cx5 rear bumper cover
Hi everyone
I bought a used 2023 cx5 2 months ago last week some jerk tagged my rear bumper in a parking lot. I bought a used bumper cover but can’t find any diagrams or pictures how to replace it. Does anybody have suggestions where to look?

Welcome to the forum Mr Tax code?
Rear bumper cover is actually simple to replace. It is a matter of simply R&R the practice and metal fatteners and easily removing other associated parts.
I just looked in my ALLData account and it is even referring to a FACTORY SERVINE MANUAL and or Parts diagram and states basic labor time is .75 hours with no sensors and 1 hour with.
The few I have replaced on various vehicle's and my own Mazda it took common tools and the only specialized tool was plastic tools .
If you are asking then you will likely break some of the easy to replace and inexpensive plastic fasteners. But really changing a bumper cover is not really challenging nor is it technical,

Thanks for the welcome to this forum, I'm glad I found this place. (not sure about Mr tax code).
I thought the job might be complicated but you changed my thinking on that. A mechanic told me the panel above the cover needs to be removed to do the job. I looked all over for information even purchased online manual from Factory Manuals, (complete waste of money). work will start on Wednesday and I'll let you know how it goes

As for the body work yes that why I posted what I did. many body work replacement parts are not in the Factory Service manual, for one reason it's not necessarily a Factory service. This is the case on many platforms. You might also see that even the good old go to Haynes, Chilton and Gilmore to name the most used and known over decades rarely post body part replacement procedures.
The last thins is it is very difficult to find a general automotive service shop that will do body work they will most of the time refer you to an autobody shop.
I'm BAAK!
Finding out I've gotten older and decided working under a car isn't fun anymore. I took the cover I bought to a neighborhood shop and they put it on in about an hour. I'm happy with the outcome to end this saga. Help from you and this forum is reassuring for future questions which frequently invade my brain, there's not much room in there.
