Default crazy mazda family

We are a crazy Mazda family from Bartlett, Tennessee. 16 year old drives a 2001 626, wife drives a 2010 cx-7, and I am building a 1966 karmann ghia with mazda rotary power. I was happy to find this site and hope to learn alot from other mazda folks.
Any advice on the ghia build is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I know it has been done, one of the std swaps as is a Chevy V8. But I have only seen those in Type II (Buses.) I can only imagine what the extra weight/power must do to the balance of the vehicle.
'Guess if you don't mind being nose-up all the time, its OK?

In fact now that I think about it, I seem to remember seeing a Beetle drag car that was Mazda Rotary powered. It lost, IIRC.
