After 13 BMWs I am ready to try something different. The maintenance and repair of BMWs has become crazy expensive. I did own a first edition Miata back in the 90s and enjoyed it a lot. Currently driving an X5 and it has been a nice vehicle but it is now out of warranty and I am apprehensive due to reports of failed transfer cases and leaking AC evaporator. Both are multi thousand dollar repairs out of warranty. Waiting for my local dealer to get a CX70 on the lot so I can see and drive one. The reviews I've read have been mostly positive including one in Car and Driver. Would appreciate any feedback from current CX70 owners.
