Buying second hand Mazda CX5
Hi everyone.
I am looking at purchasing a used CX5 GT 4WD 2.5l or Akera model.
In the 2016 and 2017 models what should I be mindful of?
Was there any negatives in the 2016 and 2017 models?

Check out the CX-5 section of the forum to see what people have posted. I have not heard of any issues beyond what would be considered typical for any vehicle. I have the same engine in my Mazda 3 and have not had any problems in the first 75,000 miles.
The main issue facing Mazdas of all models is the Soul Red Crystal Metallic which has been problematic for many Mazda owners. I would avoid buying a Mazda with the premium red until they get the problems figured out.
Good luck with your purchase and let us know if you decide to go with the Mazda. If you do, I am confident that you will enjoy driving your Mazda more than other vehicles you have driven in the past.

If your budget allows, go with the 2017 model since it has an updated exterior look and better sound-proofing.
