Default Blind Spot Monitoring System

I have a 2021 CX5 and the BSM doesn't always see vehicles in my blind spot. It appears if I am going approximately 7 MPH faster than the vehicle that I am passing that the vehicle does not show up. This was not the case for my 2018 CX5 or any other vehicle I have been in with BSM. Has anyone else notice this happening?

I had the same issue with my 2021 CX30. It was not seeing some vehicles on the passenger side when passing on highways. It was mainly missing semis but not cars, pickups or smaller trucks. The dealer could not duplicate. They adjusted the sensitivity of the sensor. It seems that all is okay since the did this 4 months ago.

Thank you for the info. Could you tell me what dealer you went to as Mazda is giving me the run around. Thanks
