Good day, I have recently purchased a 2016 CX-5, and have found out if comes with the manufacturer fitted locking system. I am wanting to find out how to make sure that the doors lock automatically. They do automatically lock on startup provided that all the doors are closed, but if one of the doors are open, or if a door is opened during the journey and then closed ... the doors do not lock automatically again ... surely there is a system that should lock the doors again once a certain speed is reached, or a certain time period has elapsed ...
this leaves me driving around with 4 unlocked doors and a baby in the back seat ... this is highly unsafe and surely can be rectified ... please advise as my local Mazda dealership are unable to fix this ?
