Would I love to race dirt tracks in my mazda

every car could break their motor by improper care.

I would make sure that there is no way dirt would be able to enter the car. but sometimes that just isnt possible
move the airbox (intake) to a safe location if it isnt using the stock intake already
make sure it has a nice skid plate to help with bounces and dirt entering under the motor
they could basiclly make a whole plate that would cut the motor off from the dirt, but that would add weight.

I think your fine as it is. maybe just a piece of aluminum that would cover the whole bottom just for protection of the motor.
