Default 2021 CX-5 Carbon Edition Vibration at 60-80mph

Hi, just bought my brand new 2021 Mazda CX-5 carbon edition 2 days ago, I noticed this annoying vibration at between 60-80 mph. Took it back to the dealer and they said that three of the tires were almost half inch out of balanced. So they rebalanced all 4 tires but the vibration remains. No difference at all. Any idea? Btw I live in the US.

Well, your terminology is not correct so I will half guess what you meant to say.

If by 1/2 inch you or they meant 1/2 once that is not much. even if all 4 wheels were 1/2 oz off. If it is a measurement is 1/2 out of roundness on the wheel or tire, then that is a lot. And either tire, wheel or both should be replaced.

I would guess that the dealer ship did a simple balance only and did not check for out of round tire or wheel(s)? Also, if there was already an uneven wear pattern cause from long-term driving on out of round or unbalanced tire(s) it may take a while for the tires to wear more round. This is also a maybe depending on how badly worn out of round they were to start. You could find a tire/wheel shop that still practices shaving tires but will all this you may as well buy a new tire(s).

My suggestion is to first have the tire and wheel check for roundness and then go from there.
One more thing alignment can have an effect on what you are describing. Even if the vehicle does not drift does not mean that it is not out of alignment. So, something else that should be consider checking. And while they are looking at that they should inspect for any suspension damage and worn suspension or steering parts to be sure.
