Working a my 2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata (convertible/hardtop version). Trying to replace a broken RV mirror on the drivers door. Got all of the fasteners (1-screw behind cup at inside release handle, 1-screw below pull handle near cup holder, perimeter plastic clips) out except for one at the pull handle. This model has what appears to be a 2-piece handle which is black with a silver or aluminum colored plastic insert. I've tried to separate the insert, but it doesn't budge. There is some sort of fastener around the pull handle that is preventing me from taking the trim panel off.
Anyone out there know how this comes apart, shy of breaking the plastic?
