Default 2006 mazda bt50 diesel 2.5 litre engine timing

Hi everyone,
I recently dropped a cam drive belt. I took the head off to check the pistons, bore and head, luckily everything was fine, accept for emissions build up in the inlet manifold, and the head ports.
I've since put the head back on tightened to specs, aligned the cam timing (cam's and lower pump gear), with belt, but I'm wondering does the crank control sensor take care of the engine timing, or do I have to set it on tdc no.1? First time diesel engine! Cheers

As long as you didn't touch the fuel pump & the cogs between the fuel pump & crank, all you need to do is align the mark on the fuel pump pulley & cam gears.
